Golfery, an indoor golf simulator lounge on Irwin Street, will get an official welcome to San Rafael at a Tuesday, Sept. 8 ribbon cutting.

The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce is hosting the free ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m. at 647 Irwin St., Suite B. The Chamber's event listing says the vice mayor will deliver remarks. Rachel Kertz holds that seat, according to the city's council roster.

Golfery held a grand opening event Aug. 22 and is already open to the public. The business bills itself as Marin County's first indoor golf simulator and coworking lounge, according to its LinkedIn page.

The venue features five Foresight golf simulators and a PuttView putting green. Beyond simulator play, Golfery offers drop-in sessions, leagues, clinics, golf instruction and community programming. Membership options include access to a coworking space and private events.

The lounge side includes six beers on tap, multiple TVs and seating areas. The business's website lists happy hour, simulator bays and lesson bookings, targeting young professionals in the San Rafael area.

The company was founded in 2025, according to its LinkedIn profile. It is also listed with the PGA of America at the same Irwin Street address. Residents can reach Golfery at 510-930-2223 or through its Instagram account, @golfery.marin.

The Tuesday, Sept. 8 ribbon cutting is free and open to the public. The Chamber's event listing does not mention an RSVP requirement.
