Redwood Credit Union, which operates a branch at 209 Third St. in San Rafael, promoted two executives and hired a third to fill three new senior vice president positions, the credit union announced Thursday, Aug. 13 through the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce.
The moves put new leaders over strategy and real estate, member experience, and workforce development at the $10.7 billion institution, which serves more than 538,000 members across the North Bay and San Francisco.
Jen Brooks Harris was promoted to SVP of strategy, project development, product management and corporate real estate. She joined RCU in 2025 as vice president of strategic planning after more than 15 years in financial services at Elevations Credit Union, Coast Hills Credit Union and NCR Digital Banking. In her new role she will oversee strategic planning, new product development and continued investment in branches.
Kristen Mahlmann, RCU's chief financial, people and strategy officer, called Harris an outstanding fit, citing her strategic vision and energy.
Divine David was promoted to SVP of member experience, leading membership growth and member relationships across RCU's communities. David joined RCU in 2025 as vice president of branch experience. She previously spent more than eight years as SVP and chief experience officer at Mirastar Credit Union and has nearly 30 years in financial services, including leadership roles at San Francisco Federal Credit Union, Provident Credit Union, Bank of the West and Golden 1 Credit Union.
She is a Lean Six Sigma green belt.
Keith Hildesheim was hired from outside the organization as SVP of people and team member development. He will oversee hiring, training and employee relations. RCU employs roughly 1,100 people. Hildesheim spent nearly 10 years at Slalom Consulting and close to a decade at Washington State Employees Credit Union, specializing in leadership development and workforce transformation. He completed the executive leadership program at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
The appointments follow a July round of promotions that elevated Gladys Milligan to regional vice president of member experience overseeing Napa, Marin and San Francisco county branches, and Azalia Basurto to branch experience manager. Newsweek also named RCU one of America's Greatest Midsize Workplaces for the second consecutive year in July 2026.
RCU, a not-for-profit credit union founded in 1950, operates three Marin County branches in San Rafael, Novato and Mill Valley.
